Reclining Mechanism Spring

Stainless Seat Springs

Corrosion is a real problem on the old seat springs. There hasn’t been a seat we have taken apart that doesn’t have heavy corrosion. The foam that has been surrounding them for many years holds in moisture either from the environment or from the driver/passenger and this then causes the springs to begin to corrode. And when these springs break, which they eventually do, they are a real challenge to replace. Requiring the upholstery to be removed to allow access for replacement.  Why chance having to do that a second time if you already have the seat stripped down.  Our springs are made from 304 stainless steel. They will not corrode.  They have been made to replicate the Porsche originals in every way, from the spring rate to the diameter, length and hook ends.
